How much is due to get started?
The $50 installation fee is paid upfront to reserve your set and installation appointment. Your first $89 monthly rental payment, plus applicable sales tax, is due at installation. The base amount due prior to or at delivery is $139, plus applicable sales tax. The installation fee does not reduce monthly rent.
How long is the commitment?
The initial lease term is 6 months. After the first 6 months, the rental continues month to month and either party may terminate with at least 30 days written notice. Notices may be sent by text or email. Any rate change after the initial term also requires at least 30 days written notice.
Can I cancel early?
You can request early termination during the initial 6-month term. The charge equals $89 multiplied by the number of unpaid months remaining in that term, plus any tax required by law, less amounts already paid for those same months. After the initial term, there is no early-termination charge; 30 days written notice is required.
Is there a deposit or pickup fee?
The standard security deposit is $0. Normal pickup after proper termination has no pickup fee. Unpaid rent, authorized late fees, customer-caused damage, and any applicable early-termination amount remain due.
What brand will I receive?
Equipment makes, models, finishes, and colors may vary. We provide functional washer and dryer equipment and may repair or replace equipment with comparable functional equipment when service is needed.
What happens if something breaks?
Normal mechanical maintenance from ordinary household use is included. Report the issue and provide reasonable access so we can arrange service or comparable replacement equipment. Stop using an appliance that leaks, smells like burning, sparks, damages clothing, or otherwise appears unsafe until we provide instructions or service. Customer-caused damage beyond normal wear may be charged under the agreement.
What do I need before installation?
Your home needs suitable water, drainage, electrical connections, dryer venting, and utilities. You are responsible for any required landlord or property-manager approval. We confirm hookups before delivery and document appliance make, model, serial number, condition, and installation checks. Do not relocate or repair rented equipment without our prior approval.
How do monthly payments work?
Your first monthly payment is due at installation, with later payments due on the same billing day each month. Recurring electronic authorization covers monthly rent and applicable tax only. Late fees, damage charges, early-termination amounts, and other non-recurring charges are separately invoiced and are not electronically debited without any additional authorization or notice required by law.
What if a payment is late?
If a monthly payment remains unpaid more than 7 days after its due date, one $10 late fee may apply, to the extent permitted by law. A payment still unpaid 14 days after the due date may be declared in default under the rental agreement.
Is this rent-to-own?
No. This is a consumer lease with no purchase option. Equipment remains Queen City property. There is no residual-value or normal end-of-lease charge; unpaid amounts and applicable damage, late, default, or early-termination charges may still apply.
